Our respiratory therapists enjoy the support to apply their knowledge and expertise in each specialty — providing a Neonatal Resuscitational Program for our Newborn ICU, encouraging participation as an active team member (including the shaping of Respiratory Therapy Protocols) in MICU/SICU rounds, providing experience in a Pulmonary Laboratory with full-service testing of pulmonary function as well as bronchoscopy, and much more.
Each member of our team is licensed by the state of Connecticut, and enjoys a comprehensive, structured orientation program upon joining Bridgeport Hospital.
